Technical Clarification

Laboratories and testing methodologies guidance

Technical Clarification Number
IEQ14-T-RC1-1021

Guidance
2015-09-17

The following guidance is provided for laboratories and testing methodologies.

The emission levels must be established by a NATA or ISO/IEC 17025 registered laboratory, the laboratory must be certified for each applicable testing methodology. i.e. each testing methodology identified in TC IEQ14-T-OB1-0534 (Formaldehyde Emission Testing Guidance Document on Formaldehyde Emission Limit Values for Different Testing Methods) must itself be NATA or ISO/IEC 17025 certified for it to meet the credit requirements.

Formaldehyde Emission Testing Guidance Document Supplementary Documentation – Formaldehyde Emission Limit Values for Different Testing Methods (SUPERSEDED by IEQ14-T-RC1-0534)

Technical Clarification Number
IEQ14-T-RC1-0422

Guidance
2012-06-12

The Formaldehyde Emission Testing Guidance Document on Formaldehyde Emission Limit Values for Different Testing Methods provides detailed guidance on acceptable formaldehyde emission limits as well as broader recognition of international testing methods than the guidance in Table IEQ-14.1 found in the Technical Manual.

This document replaces the emission level tables (IEQ-14.1) for this credit released in:
- Green Star - Retail Centre v1

All projects registered after 2012-06-12 must comply with this correction. All projects registered before this date have the following options:
1) Use the table below as per this technical clarification; or
