In relation to MAN 5.1 Cost & Benefit Sharing Mechanisms:
This point can only be claimed as Not Applicable if MAN 5.2 Inclusion of Green Lease criteria to new leases & renewals is approved and is in place and indicates that there were no greening initiatives or interventions in place during the performance period. If there is no Green Lease because the building is either owner occupied or where areas under a lease agreement make up less than 30% of the building GLA – the MAN 5.1 point can’t be claimed and MAN 5.2 can be claimed as Not Applicable.

For projects where a lease agreement is not in place, an owner commitment or inter departmental agreement can substitute the Green Lease.
Additionally note the table attached below with regard to credit criteria applicable to a project where the above statement is applicable.
